JUANITA MARIE WILLIFORD

1928-2021

Juanita Lankford Williford, was born March 24, 1928 to J.C. and Anna Lucille Lankford in Houston, TX. She died peacefully at home in Austin, TX June 30, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Lucille Lankford and brothers, Johnny, Bobby, and Wayne. She was also preceded by her husband, Weldon Williford, daughter, Cynthia Cole, and beloved companion of 16 years, “Punkin”.

She is survived by son Lynn Williford, four grandchildren, Robyn Evans (Donald), Marc Ray, Jeff Williford (Abby), Samantha Adams (Ryan); seven great-grandchildren, Carson, Callum, Briggs, Kessler, Decker, Cory, Caelyn; son-in-law, Raymond Cole; sister-in-law, Mary Lankford, numerous extended family members and friends, and special friends through the years, Kathy Kelly, JoAnn Martin, Olivia Harris and new companion for five years, “Sunny”.

Juanita was a member of Bethel Baptist Church for 66 years where she served in many capacities. She was a woman of strong Christian faith, which sustained her though out her life.

The Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11am, family will receive friends at 10am. Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039 (281) 449-6511.
