Peter Mytchak, 92, of Houston,TX passed away on July 2, 2021. He was born to Alex and Sophia Mytchak in Olean, NY on Jan 24, 1929.He graduated from Tri-State College in Indiana. Pete served proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. Afterwards,he went to work for Dresser Industries in Olean, NY as a mechanical engineer.He moved to Houston with Dresser in 1970.He had a successful career in the oil industry until retirement. Pete married the love of his life Audrey Viden. They were married 60 years.They have two children Christina and David and five grandchildren. Pete was an active member of St. John Chrysostom Church. The funeral mass will be held on July 24 at noon at St. John’s 5402 Acorn St.
