Realtor Tracie Parzen with Greenwood King Properties is proud to call Houston — and especially the Westbury community — her home.
Though Parzen works throughout the greater Houston area, her focus is Westbury, where she resides.
“I am very passionate about my community,” Parzen said. “It is a hidden gem of a neighborhood because it’s so close to everything. It’s only 15 minutes from the Galleria, Med Center, Rice Village, and then 20 minutes to Montrose, Upper Kirby and more. The proximity to the west and south Loop make getting around Houston very easy.”
Parzen said the school and community are highly desirable for buyers.
“The schools are top notch, and the community has a very friendly and eclectic vibe. It is a great time to buy a house here because they are still very affordable. With interest rates as low as they are, you can really save money over the life of your loan,” she said.
As a former Austin resident for nearly 20 years and a University of Texas alumna, Parzen has lived in the Westbury area for the past seven years after moving to Houston in 2014.
Parzen started her Realtor career in 2021 and comes from a background in sales and marketing. The opportunity to enter the real estate industry seemed a natural fit.
“I love people,” Parzen said. “I have a strong entrepreneurial drive and real estate checked all of the career boxes for me. There is no better career for an energetic people-person than real estate.”
Parzen also has experience in building two homebased businesses into thriving endeavors. Before becoming a mother, Parzen, who is fluent in Italian, worked in wine sales and marketing and has a background as a teacher.
“In the early 2000s, I lived in Italy for over four years and worked with tourists teaching them about the local food and wine. Through these varied experiences, I’ve developed a keen marketing sense, great negotiation skills, the patience to guide people through big life changes and the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds,” she said.
As a Realtor, Parzen enjoys getting to know her clients as she deeply cares for what they’re looking to achieve especially as their “fiercest advocate.”
“I love connecting and listening to what is important to them. I am very responsive, friendly with a deep sense of duty to clients. Buying or selling a home is a complicated process. It’s my job to guide every step of the way so my clients feel empowered and confident in their choices,” she said.
