Stuart Chase Pattillo, 64 years of age, passed away on July 21, 2021.

He was born on September 17, 1956, was a native Houstonian who grew up in Briargrove. He attended Briargrove Elementary School, T. H. Rogers Jr. High School and Robert E. Lee High School, where he exceled in baseball, making the All-City team his senior year. After graduating from high school in 1975, he attended the University of Texas, where he was a member of the

Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He graduated UT with a Bachelor of Business Administra­tion degree in 1979. He started his profession­al career working as a Petroleum Landman in the Oil and Gas industry in the 1980’s until the early 1990’s. In the early 1990’s he switched careers and became a stockbroke­r for Raymond James & Associates. In addition to working for Raymond James, he also followed his love, high school football recruiting. He was Co-Founder and Co-Publisher of TEXAS 100, a publicatio­n dedicated to the top high school football players in the state of Texas. During this time, he was a Board member of the Houston Touchdown Club. In the early 2000’s he returned to the Oil and Gas industry and worked as a Petroleum Landman.

He was preceded in death by his parents Junius E. Pattillo and Arlene C. Pattillo and his sister Phyllis P. Harrison.

He is survived by his son, Chase P. Pattillo and wife, Shayla and their children Peyton Wren and William Jude, his brother Steven C. Pattillo and girlfriend, Lana Dial, his nephews Steven L. Harrison, Jr. and wife Jenifer, Marshall C. Harrison and wife, Jamie and Parker L. Harrison. His nieces Heather H. Walsh and husband Howard and Margo S. Harrison, and numerous great nephews and nieces.

Stuart was an avid hunter, fisherman and follower of all UT sports and bled burnt orange. He was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He was very loyal father, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed, and his spirit will live in our hearts forever.

There will be a celebratio­n of Stuart’s life in the very near future, date and time pending.
