Bucks land Allen for Merrill, picks
MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired guard Grayson
Allen from the Memphis Grizzlies for guard Sam
Merrill and two future second-round picks.
Allen, 25, averaged 10.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 25.2 minutes for the Grizzlies this past season. He played 50 games and made 38 starts.

• The Rockets’ sign-andtrade deal to acquire center
Daniel Theis was completed on Saturday with the Rockets sending cash to the Chicago Bulls to complete the deal.
Theis, 29, has averaged 7.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game with the Celtics and Bulls.
“Daniel is a versatile center who impacts both ends of the court,” Rockets general manager Rafael
Stone said in a statement. “We’re looking forward to adding his skillset to or young core and giving coach (Stephen) Silas even more flexibility with his lineups.”
• The Sacramento Kings acquired 10-year veteran center Tristan Thompson from the Boston Celtics as part of a three-team trade that also involved the Atlanta Hawks. The Kings traded guard Delon
Wright to Atlanta. The Hawks sent guard Kris Dunn, forward-center
Bruno Fernando and a 2023 second-round draft pick to Boston.
• The Charlotte Hornets have agreed to terms with free agent small forward
Kelly Oubre Jr. on a twoyear, $26 million contract.
