HOMES, COMMUNITIES
Artavia community has new sections, move-in ready homes.
Legend Homes, the engineer and builder of the 15th annual HomeAid Project Playhouse Union Station will be drawing the name of the winner on Aug. 20 during the Mariners vs. Astros game at Minute Maid Park. The announcement will be made on the concourse level, section 152. Proceeds from Project Playhouse go toward building shelters for HomeAid’s homeless care providers within the community.
“The Project Playhouse Union Station design is inspired by Minute Maid Park’s iconic Union Station that is reminiscent of the charm and classic look of an actual train station,” said James Miller, president of HomeAid Houston. “HomeAid can’t thank Legend Homes and their vendors and suppliers enough for making this happen with their donations. A huge thank you also goes out to the Astros Foundation for partnering with HomeAid on Project Playhouse for the past 15 years.”
The Union Station Playhouse features several first-class amenities, such as air conditioning, a television, a window seat, toy storage, a play table, a rock-climbing wall, and a rooftop deck with a telescope.
The key presentation on the ball field will be held on Aug. 25. This annual Project Playhouse fundraiser has raised more than $1 million since its inception in 2006.
Companies contributing to the construction of Union Station are the Hall of Fame Sponsors, Tri-Tech — Engineering, Surveying and Planning, Rock Materials, LJA Engineering, EHRA Engineering, Excell Foundations, Legend Homes, Academy Development and Camillo Properties.
