Raley’s penalty reduced
The Astros announced Saturday that MLB reduced reliever Brooks Raley’s suspension from three to two games. He served the first game Saturday and will sit out the second in Sunday’s series finale against the Twins.
Raley has maintained that he didn’t intend to throw at Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford during the Astros’ 11-8 loss July 26 in Seattle. Astros manager
Dusty Baker was handed a one-game suspension for the incident.
