Cindy Cook uses Inner Loop knowledge to help her clients.
Beth Wolff Realtors Real Living Realtor Cindy Cook, who transitioned into a residential real estate career from a 12-year profession as a teacher and administrator at Pin Oak Middle School in Bellaire, has found her niche working in this industry.
A native Houstonian, Cook has special insight into area neighborhoods and resources to keep her clients on the pulse of the city and what they’re looking for.
With this, Cook is able to educate both newcomers to the city and Houstonians who are relocating to a new address within city limits with information on the greater Houston area, neighborhoods and schools. Cook stated that by furnishing this information, she can assist buyers and sellers make the best decisions at “every step of their transactions and make it all fall into place as smoothly as possible,” she said.
Cook grew up in Meyerland and graduated from Bellaire High School. After earning her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Houston, Cook worked for the Houston ABC affiliate station KTRK-TV Ch. 13 before becoming a teacher.
With her background in this area, Cook is exceedingly familiar with Houston’s southwest side, including Bellaire, West University, Meyerland, Maplewood, Robindale, and Westbury. She also has extended her sales focus to include the Heights and Montrose.
Her primary focus area is the Inner Loop.
“There is access to parks, dining, museums and sports venues that make the Inner Loop a fun place to live,” she said.
A six-year veteran in real estate, Cook said that her experience has prepared her to serve clients, adding that her strong organization and planning skills utilized during her years in education have added to her expertise when assisting clients. She’s able to combine excellent communication skills and listening abilities, which she credits as invaluable keys to her success in real estate.
Cook, who is relocation certified, is also skilled at organization and helping others, she said.
In addition, Cook is known for working tirelessly for her clients. Her key attributes include attention to detail, creative problem-solving and heartfelt care.
“My clients always have first priority. I am friendly, upbeat, honest, and available when my clients need me,” said Cook.
In the community, Cook participates as president of the American Heart Association Guild of Houston, The Ballet Guild of Houston, and is an active member of Willow Meadows Baptist Church. When time permits, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her closest friends.
