Good byes are not forever, good byes are not the end, and they simply mean we will miss you until we meet again!

Leah Fergus Moody passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Tuesday evening, the 24th of August 2021, at the age of 50, following complications of a traumatic brain injury.

Leah attended Episcopal High School and was a resident of Houston her entire life.

Leah is preceded in death by her mother, Sara Fergus. She is survived by her only son, Parker McMillan Gonzales. Father, Dan M. Moody, Jr. and his wife Lynn. Her brother and sister-in-law, Dan M. Moody III and Kim. Her Sister, Lisa Anne Wexner Stidham of Florida. Her exhusband Carlos Gonzalez and wife, Tamara. Ex-in-laws, OJ Gonzalez and wife, MaryJo. Uncles, Aunts, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Condolences are extended to Leah’s long-time companion, Gregory Lloyd Johnson.

Due to rising COVID cases and hospitalizations in the Houston area, a private service with only family members and close friends will be held in honor of her life.
