PHILIP DANIEL JOHNSTONE

1954-2021

Captain Philip Daniel Johnstone, of Spring, TX, made his last flight in July 2021 after a brief illness at 66 years young. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Philip leaves his loving and grateful family: wife Beth Ann Johnstone, mother Norma Cummings, and brother Daniel Cummings. He joins his father, Dr. Daniel M. Johnstone, in the skies above the stars. A native of Indianapolis, IN, graduate of Indiana University School of Business, Philip went on to achieve much in his adventurous life. He was a successful entrepreneur, building contractor, IT consultant, network engineer, accomplished 50-year airplane pilot and owner, competitive swimmer in early years, scuba diver, sky diver, world traveler and explorer…… crossing the paths of many and forgotten by few. A Celebration of Life is to be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, 2:30 pm at Magnolia Cowboy Church, 23247 Glenmont Estates, Magnolia, TX 77355. Family, friends, and colleagues are invited to attend and to “keep the party goin’!”
