WARREN JOHNSON BARCLAY

A Memorial Service was held for Warren Johnson Barclay on August 23, 2021 at Arlington National Cemetery. Warren was born July 27,

1914 to Elma Jean and Jesse Lee Barclay of Knox City, Texas and was killed in action aboard the USS Hoel on or about October 25, 1944 at the Battle of Leyte.

Warren left behind a young wife (Erva Vae) and two small sons (Maurice and Mark).

They Fought Together As Brothers-In-Arms. They

Died Together And Now They Sleep Side By Side. To Them We Have A Solemn Obligation
