Suspects sought after shooting leaves man dead

A man died after being shot in north Houston on Friday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff ’s Office.

Units from the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office were sent out around 10:30 p.m. to the 300 block of North Vista, where they found bullet casings and vehicles that were “struck by gunfire,” said Sgt. Jason Brown of the office’s homicide division.

Officials found out a man with a gunshot wound had been driven to a hospital, where he died, according to Brown.

“As of right now, we believe that at least two other suspects from the shooting fled the scene on foot,” Brown said.
