Woman walking in road dies when car strikes her

A 34-year-old woman was found dead after a vehicle hit her in Montgomery County early Saturday, according to authorities.

A Honda Accord hit the woman when she was walking in a southbound lane, according to state troopers. The crash was called in around 2 a.m. at FM 1774 and FM 149 in the Pinehurst area.
