WILLIAM GREEN, JR.

1931-2021

William Green, Jr. began his life’s journey on December 2, 1931 in Liberty, Texas. He was the only son of parents, William Green, Sr. and Mary Genus Henderson. He was united in holy matrimony to Bernadine Elizabeth Cormier on September 2, 1950. To that union they were blessed with four beautiful children: Ronald, Denise, Craig, and Valerie.

Mr. Green moved from Liberty, Texas to Houston in 1951 where he began his 36-year work tenure with the Diamond Shamrock and B.F. Goodrich Companies.

William Green, Jr. was a faithful member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years where he served with the Music Ministry, the Transportation

Ministry and on the Usher Board.

Mr. Green peacefully completed his life’s journey on August 31, 2021 after several years of declining health.

Services for Mr. Green will be held at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church (8875 Flagship Drive, Houston, Texas 77029). Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., and the Celebration of Life Service begins at 11:00 a.m. ww.proctorsmortuary.com
