FRANK J. GASKEY III

1950-2021

-

Joe Gaskey died on August 26th from complications of COVID.

The oldest of three children, he was born July 14, 1950 in Houston to Frank J. Gaskey and Mignonne Cloud Gaskey. He leaves behind his wife Pamela Phillips Gaskey, his son William Gaskey (Jasmine), his brother Guy W. “Bill” Gaskey and his sister Melissa Gaskey Noskeau (Barry). Also left behind to mourn his passing is his aunt, Camilla Cloud Fenner, his niece and nephew, Michael Noskeau (Alma) and Rivka Noskeau (Ray) as well many cousins and scores of good friends.

Joe wore many hats in his life. He was an avid sportsman, dog breeder, dog trainer and has a deep respect for our natural world. He also enjoyed tending to his cattle on their small ranch in New Ulm. His most beloved trait was his ability to tell a great story. Just like his father, Frank Jr, you felt like you witnessed the event yourself because of the descriptions and details he used in his story telling. Though many of them sounded fantastical, they were all true.

There will be a memorial service at La Griglia, 2002 W Gray, in Houston, on Saturday, September 11th from 12 noon to three 3pm. There will be a graveside service at a later date.
