Clyde Albert Poche Sr. passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday morning August 22, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roland and Claire Poche. He was also preceded in death by his sister Marie and his three brothers Roland, Leefe and Jack.

Clyde was born in

Metairie Louisiana on April 7, 1927. He attended Loyola University on a basketball scholarshi­p where he met the love of his life, Wanda

Ray Mitchell. They were married for 58 years before she suddenly passed away in April 2010. He was the father of 10 children: Clyde Albert Jr.(deceased 2009), Michael (Liza), Suzanne Palmer (Milton), Carolyn Waddington (John), Edward (Mary), David (Peggy), Janice Anderson (Jim), Thomas (Stacey), Mark (Michelle), and Steve (Erin).

Clyde has a large extended family with sixteen grandchild­ren and eleven great grandchild­ren.

Services will be held at 11:00 on September 21,

2021 at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church followed by a private graveside service at the Houston National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the food pantry at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 10330 Hillcroft Street, Houston Texas, 77096.
