Deshaun Watson remains on the active roster but will not play as he faces 22 civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and harassment. He is not expected to play again for the Texans, who await a trading partner once his legal issues are resolved. Tyrod Taylor is the starter. The 11-year veteran has been an effective downfield passer and a dynamic runner in his career. He’ll try to do both in Houston. Third-round pick Davis Mills will develop as Taylor’s backup.
