SUZANNE H. EPPS

1925-2021

Suzanne Homeyer Epps, 95, of Houston, Texas, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. She was born December 30, 1925, in Robstown, Texas to Charles and Beulah Homeyer. She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, and her husband, James C. Epps, Jr.

Suzanne was a very active in Houston and The Woodlands, with involvement in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, the Harris County Grand Jury and the Woodlands Country Club. Suzanne managed the family ranch in Centerville, Texas. At the end of the day, Suzanne’s greatest loves were her family and close friends.

Suzanne is survived by her children: James Epps, III. (Linda); Susan Epps Pierce (Mike); and Laura Epps Jesberg (Bill). She was a devoted “Mimi” to her grandchildren: Kevin Epps (Amber), Ryan Epps (Kristin), Meredith

Pierce Hayden (Kyle), Matthew Jesberg (Christina) and Jordan Jesberg, and six great-grandchildren, Austin, Brandon and Owen Epps, Pierce and Jackson Hayden and Gavin Jesberg.

The interment will be family-only. As soon as conditions allow, a memorial service will be held for all who loved her to gather and remember her fondly.
