CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL MACHTEMES

1980-2021

Christopher Michael Machtemes, 40, passed away suddenly at home on September 2, 2021. Chris was the beloved son of Andrew and Rosemary Machtemes, a caring and loving brother to his big sister, Julie, and a loving uncle to nephew, Wesley, and nieces, Julia and Zarana.

Chris graduated from Clear Brook High School and the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He enjoyed listening to country western music and visiting with long time neighbors. He loved following major league baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros. Building models, cooking with his mom, and hanging out or traveling with his dad were some of his favorite pastimes. Chris was the kindest and gentlest of souls, asking for little but generous to all.

Our family has lost an amazing, kind-hearted man who we will love forever.
