Sara Louise Thompson passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the age of 92. Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Thompson; parents, Joseph Raymond Aderholt and Nellie Alma Entrekin Aderholt; brother, Joseph Raymond (“Red”) Aderholt, Jr.; and great granddaugh­ter, Grace Marie Elm. Louise is survived by her daughter, Janet Ruddell (and husband Steve Ruddell); son, Greg Thompson (and wife Carolyn Thompson); granddaugh­ter, Christie Elm (and husband Chris Elm); and great grandsons, Seth, Joel, Levi and Asher.

Louise was born on October 16, 1928, in Macon, GA. She married the love of her life, Howard, on September 4, 1948. They were faithful members of Baptist Churches in Atlanta and Houston.

Louise had a great sense of humor. She was funny, clever and witty and made people around her laugh. She loved to whistle and hum songs.

Louise acquired a new name, “Mimi”, by her granddaugh­ter, Christie. Christie and Mimi were inseparabl­e and their love for one another is immeasurab­le.

Louise loved her family unconditio­nally and adored her loyal companion, Sadie.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, at 9:00 AM at Forest Park Westheimer in the Ten Commandmen­ts section.
