Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty — The Woodlands Realtor Lupita Padilla has called The Woodlands home for years and enjoys working with clients throughout the area to assist them with their needs.

“What I like about The Woodlands is the feeling of safety and freedom and beauty,” she said. “You feel it is a small town, for the size is not small at all, but it feels you know everybody, and you can relate to all residents in here.”

Padilla’s focus extends throughout The Woodlands and the surrounding areas. She has resided in the area for 12 years.

“I discovered Houston is in my heart, and I love the city. It is now my hometown. I can say I am a Houstonian by heart,” said Padilla, who is also bilingual in Spanish.

As a 14-year veteran in the real estate industry, Padilla uses previous work experience in the automotive industry with Ford Motor Company — Altec, where she worked mainly in logistics and IT.

“Working in Ford gave me the sense of urgency and time, value of teamwork and reaching a goal in time on budget. These skills are something that are with me and use in real estate all the time,” she said.

Padilla chose real estate after moving to the U.S. from Mexico and realizing this industry is her passion. She considers it a gift to be able to meet and work with so many families who have later become friends.

Another friend’s feedback actually drove her to success along the way.

“I never thought I would develop into the real estate agent I am now,” Padilla said. “Someone said to me 14 years ago, you are not

good at this, and because of that amazing friend, I have been working hard every day.”

Padilla’s dedication to her craft has earned her recognition as being part of the Circle of Excellence with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty.

Key personal traits that aid Padilla when guiding clients in their transactions are being a good listener as well as learning from every transaction.

Most of all, Padilla’s primary focus is helping her clients reach their goals.

“I love what I do, and I do it with my heart,” said Padilla. “I care and will do what it is necessary to make a deal happen with my client’s approval. My clients are the most important

part of this process. At the end, it’s about having my clients being thrilled and happy.”
