• Army Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is meeting in Greece with NATO counterparts, hoping to forge more intelligence sharing and other agreements to prevent terrorist groups like al-Qaida and the Islamic State from regrouping in Afghanistan.
