‘So Long to Second Street’
Over the long-gone echo of a warehouse spray-painted
SHALLOW WHITEBREAD CULTURE luxury, twenty stories and more — dinge-windowed Greyhound station erased by bank tower, odor of hot Band-Aids abandoned with Nalle Plastics.
Rats, we pace construction mazes, the walkway where a stenciled razor blade urges GIVE UP.
But someone’s crossed it out.
Someone’s written NEVER.
