Veteran Realtor provides clients exceptional skills, service
Greenwood King Properties Realtor Cathy Cagle provides a unique combination of skills when working with clients.
As a fourth-generation Houstonian, Cagle possesses the insight and knowledge as well as the longevity in the industry for more than two decades to guide clients to either their dream home or closing a sale.
Her primary concentration is inside Loop 610, Memorial, Tanglewood, and West University areas.
“I have never had one area of concentration,” said Cagle. “My business was built on friends and referrals from all different walks of life living in all different areas of Houston. I like my main focus area, inside the Loop, because that is where I live and have lived for the past 20 years. It’s a great time to buy a house in my area, especially houses on larger lots.”
Cagle, a Texas Christian University graduate, began in real estate in 1996.
Prior to that she worked as an intern in Washington D.C. on Capital Hill while attending TCU.
After graduation, Cagle moved to Washington permanently and assisted in several political races, and presidential and congressional campaigns.
She later moved back to Texas and decided real estate was a “natural fit.”
“My best friend was in real estate, and I thought if he can do it so can I,” she said.
Cagle’s work experience led to research, communication, and strategizing skills. After moving back to Houston, Cagle worked at Sam Houston Race Park not only developing $1.5 million in sales, but also conducting market evaluations.
She said working with clients is her forte and her key attributes are being organized, efficient, innovative, and aggressive.
“I am a people person,” said Cagle. “I think this is a huge trait to possess if you want to be in this business. You will meet so many people from so many different walks of life.”
Cagle has been recognized numerous times for her dedication to clients.
She’s been awarded the Circle of Excellence
Award Winner from 19992014 and is in the Circle of Excellence Hall of Fame.
In addition, she was featured on NBC Today’s “Your Money” segment in July 2007.
In her free time, Cagle is dedicated to the community supporting numerous programs throughout Houston including The Baylor College of Medicine Partnership, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Houston Symphony, the Women’s Fund for Health and Education, Citizens for Animals Protection, and is the founding supporter of Saving Animals without Borders.
