Motorist jailed after hitting salon’s window

Authorities took a person into custody after he allegedly sped into a vehicle before smashing into the window of a nail salon Friday night, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

Responders were dispatched before 11 p.m. Friday. The driver of a Chevrolet pickup sped east on Texas 105 from FM 1485 and nearly hit vehicles from behind before veering onto the shoulder and then losing control at the edge of a driveway, the Police Reporter reported.

The driver hit a vehicle and continued on — hitting posts by a shopping center and smashing the nail salon window, the Police Reporter reported.

No one was injured, and the driver was brought to the Montgomery County Jail, according to the Police Reporter.
