Chanel spritzes The Woodlands

- Greg Morago

If The Woodlands smells a little bit like the world’s most famous fragrance there’s good reason. This month, Chanel is opening its newest stand-alone fragrance and beauty boutique at Market Street, 9595 Six Pines.

The house that reinvented the fragrance industry with its Chanel No. 5 perfume will unveil a 1,500-square-foot boutique by the end of the month featuring a full range of Chanel fragrances, makeup and skin care products, as well as Chanel eyewear. The store’s makeup and skin care area will be anchored by a discovery table where guests are invited to explore the company’s latest launches as well as classic products. There’s also a virtual services component that allows customers to schedule appointments to develop their own skin care regimen.

The boutique will also feature Chanel’s limited-edition holiday collection that includes a collector’s edition of the iconic No. 5. It’s a big year for Chanel: This year the company celebrates the 100th anniversary of its signature scent.
