CONDO LIFE

The Revere showcases vast tree-lined balcony views

-

With fall weather now in full effect, the timing could not be more optimal for Houstonians to enjoy the brief window of climate nirvana that arrives each year after the metro area has suffered through a sweltering summer that often feels like it is neverending.

While many immediately flock to the city’s bountiful green spaces, prominent restaurant patios, and other outdoor offerings, those lucky few with balcony spaces high above the hustle and bustle of the city are able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the comforts of home while being able to take in the moderate temperatures.

At The Revere at River Oaks, Pelican Builders’ Kirksey-designed mid-rise, the balcony is one of the most desired amenities.

“Balconies at The Revere are true gems. They are quite large … ranging from 160 square feet to

250 square feet,” said sales manager Kyle Mikulenka with Douglas Elliman Development Marketing — exclusively handles sales and marketing for The Revere.

He added, “We have gas connections for grills, and puppy pad features as well. Almost all of the balconies face the River Oaks treetops to the north, which offers a more comfortable environment for spending time outdoors in Houston. The southern sun makes south-facing balconies virtually unusable on many days here.”

The Revere’s balconies … are soon to all be spoken for, as only five residences remain out of a total of 30 across the ninestory boutique condominium property. One of the remaining units just so happens to be a move-in ready 3,314-square-foot ninth-story penthouse.

Across Houston, penthouses are none too plentiful in general, but movein ready units are even more scarce in the marketplace.

That scarcity is also reflected in The Revere’s nearly full occupancy. To date, The Revere has been a hit with buyers for a number of reasons, chief among them being a lock-and-leave lifestyle courtesy of 24/7 concierge, as well as daily valet and porter service.

The Revere additionally boasts the added convenience of exercise and meeting rooms, a catering kitchen, and ample storage — giving downsizing River Oaks empty nesters a reason to stay and play in the neighborhood where they raised their kids.

The fantastic fall weather in the Bayou City will not last long, and neither will the opportunity to join The Revere’s community of residents.
