Middleton powers Bucks past Kings

MILWAUKEE — Former Texas A&M player Khris Middleton scored 34 points, and Jrue Holiday added 26 to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 133-127 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night, making up for the absence of teammate Giannis Antetokoun­mpo.

Antetokoun­mpo sat out with right knee soreness one night after scoring 30 points against the Bulls. The Bucks (30-19) won their third straight game and second in as many nights, this time in a more free-flowing contest.

Harrison Barnes paced Sacramento with 29 points.

Tyrese Haliburton had 24, and Terence Davis II added 22.

CAVALIERS 94 THUNDER 87

Darius Garland collected 23 points and 11 assists, and rookie Evan Mobley had 15 points and a season-high 17 rebounds to put host Cleveland over Oklahoma City.

Jarrett Allen added 14 points and 13 rebounds for Cleveland.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander paced Oklahoma City across the board with 29 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Kenrich Williams scored 12 points and Luguentz Dort had 10 points before being ejected for elbowing Kevin Love in the head.

SUNS 113, PACERS 103

Mikal Bridges tied a season high with 23 points, Bismack Biyombo matched his career best with 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as host Phoenix won its sixth straight game by beating Indiana.

Chris Paul added 18 points and 16 assists for the Suns (36-9).

Chris Duarte and Lance Stephenson both scored 17 points. Goga Bidatze added 16 points and 11 rebounds.

CARUSO TO UNDERGO WRIST SURGERY

Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso will have surgery next week to repair his broken right wrist after he was taken down by Grayson Allen in the third quarter Friday at Milwaukee.

The team said Caruso, a former A&M player, will be re-evaluated in six to eight weeks.

WIZARDS COACH RETURNS

Wizards coach Wes Unseld Jr. is out of health and safety protocols and available to be on the sideline Sunday against the Celtics.

Assistant coach Pat Delany ran the Wizards for one game in Unseld’s absence, then went into health and safety protocols as well. Joseph Blair took over the team for the next three games.
