BOBBIE MYRES HARVARD

1945-2022

-

Bobbie Myres Harvard passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2022, in Houston Texas, after a valiant battle with brain cancer.

She was born on December 20th, 1945, to the late Robert C. Myres and Nora Wright Myres.

As a child she grew up in Hamilton, TX on the “Bar H Bar” ranch where she honed her skills as a barrel racer.

She graduated from W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi in 1964. In 1970, Bobbie moved to Houston. Throughout her career she was an accomplished oil and calligraphy artist, interior designer, opened a consignment shop, and began working in auctions. She met her life partner and the two traveled and worked together for over 20 years.

Bobbie was a loving and wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and life partner. She gave unconditional love for not only her family but also her close friends. She enjoyed traveling and spending as much time with her loved ones as possible. In her final days what made her the happiest was having her “great grand-boys” come to visit, laughing, and reminiscing with her family and friends.

Bobbie was vivacious, funny, fun-loving, adventurous, extremely creative, and talented. She never met a stranger, she never judged others, and she was deeply devoted to her family. Bobbie touched the hearts and lives of many. She will be sorely missed.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Nora and Robert Myers.

She is survived by her only daughter Brianna Harvard, granddaughter Eva Vaz and her husband Alex Vaz, her grandson Fielding Davis, and her two great-grandchildren Lachlan Vaz and Tate Vaz, and her life partner Roy Devillier.

A Memorial service will be held for Bobbie at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, located at 11140 Greenbay Street, Houston, TX 77024 in the Chapel.

A memorial donation page has been created in Bobbie’s memory to the National Brain Tumor Society in honor of Bobbie Harvard via this link https://nbtsevents.braintumor.org/fundraiser/3765866

The Family would like to thank The Plaza at Buckingham and Vantage Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for our beloved Bobbie “Mimi”.
