Brittany Wooten, a Realtor with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty with six years of real estate industry experience, recently shared these insights:

Q: Why did you decide on a career in real estate and what are some things you enjoy about it?

A: I found my way into real estate after being in a sales and marketing career. I have always enjoyed meeting new people through my job and helping them fill a need. Real estate was a natural fit as I could blend both my business skills and my social skills in working with an array of people and helping them to their goal.

Q: What are your focus areas?

A: Cypress South, Cypress North, Katy, Tomball, Spring and The Woodlands.

Q: How hot is the marketplace now and is it a good time to buy?

A: The current market is a strong one for sellers, yes, but I also say it is a great time for buyers. The housing shortage will take years to correct and as that is a factor of the limited inventory creating buyer demand, prices will continue to rise. For buyers, now is a good time to buy while there is confidence your investment will continue to appreciate and current interest rates, although rising, still remain historically low.

Q: How would you describe your work ethic and skills that bring you success with your clients?

A: I am customer-centric with every transaction. No transaction is the same as no client is the same. I listen and stay in tune with my clients’ needs keeping them informed and educated throughout the process so they can make the best decision at each stage.

Q: What are some key ways you help clients during the buying/selling process?

A: Communication is key. I am always available to my clients and stay responsive throughout the entire process, even after closing. Preparation and education on the current market and what to expect throughout the process help for smoother transactions.

Q: What is your professional background and experience?

A: I have a professional certification as a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE); a BS in dance management from Oklahoma City University; and 20 years in advertising sales with a national multimedia dance company and dance media.

Q: How does your company support your sales process?

A: MTSIR’s support and tools is beyond anything I have experienced. All the Realtors and staff support each other and are there for each other.

I do not feel MTSIR is so much my brokerage but more as my own personal realty team here, to support and protect my clients while also propelling me to grow my business.
