Tiffiny Ann Hackett Smalley, 54, passed away at her home in Tomball, Texas on April 5, 2022. She was born on April 20, 1967 to Pamela and Coy Hackett in El Paso, TX. Tiffiny graduated from El Paso High School in 1985. While growing up, Tiffiny was a music enthusiast. She played piano throughout her younger years and clarinet in high school. Her love of music only deepened after she joined the El Paso High School marching band. Tiffiny also earned a music scholarshi­p to the University of Arizona which she attended prior to earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting and a Master of Business Administra­tion from the University of Texas at El Paso. She followed in her mom’s footsteps and became a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. She worked most of her career as a CPA in financial reporting in the oil and gas industry in the Houston area.

Tiffiny was especially proud of her sons, Tyler and Travis. Tyler graduated from Klein Oak High School and was accepted to Texas A&M University and the Corps of Cadets where he will be graduating this spring with a degree in nursing and commission­ing into the Army as a nursing officer. Travis also has a love of music and was in the front ensemble at Tomball Memorial

High School. He has a passion for flying and wants to be a commercial pilot.

Tiffiny was extremely close with her family and loved to spend time with family and close friends. She loved Mexican food, but always volunteere­d to bring healthy snacks for holiday gatherings. Tiffiny had a love for animals and never met a dog that she did not want to take home. She loved her dogs Cooper and Scooter and spent countless hours throwing a ball or taking them to the dog park.

Tiffiny is survived by her sons, Tyler James Smalley of College Station, TX, and Travis Austin Smalley, of Tomball, TX, mother Pamela Sue Hackett, sisters Kimberly Hackett and Noelle

Jaco, brother Curtis Hackett (Janet), nieces Raini Chase, and Reagan and Riley Jaco. Tiffiny was preceded in death by her father, Coy Hackett, brother-in-law, Josh Jaco, and nephew, Mason Hackett.

The family will hold a private Celebratio­n of Life this spring.
