DRUSILLA LANIER YODER WILLIAMS “LANNIE”

1939-2022

Born to Garnett Andrew Yoder & Drusilla Lanier Davidson of San Antonio & Brady, Texas. Lannie is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, John Ward Williams & her brothers Andy Yoder & David Huffington. She is survived by her stepsons Russell Williams & his wife Anna Skudlarska, Wyatt Williams & his wife Sandra Williams; nieces Elizabeth Stenning & Katherine Yoder; nephew Ashley Yoder, his wife Lisa Yoder & their children Lanier & Hadley.

Lannie attended Alamo Heights High School, St. Mary’s Hall, Trinity University & the University of Texas in Austin. She had a successful career as one of the state’s early female stockbroke­rs.

She later worked as a real estate broker for lifelong family friend, George Murray. Lannie was involved in many charities & organizati­ons & never hesitated to give her efforts to friends or family in need of care. Her talent for gourmet cooking was legendary & none can forget her cookies, brownies, & famous rolls. Those Holiday parties on Huntingdon with family, old friends, & decadent food were a beloved annual event for many!

Lannie’s other great love was for her pets which were always an important part of her life. She later transition­ed that love into the showing and breeding of Champion Old English Sheepdogs.

Lannie was a big personalit­y with enormous gifts and talents. She was a wonderfull­y unique individual with a vast circle of friends, a testament to her charisma & charm.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
