Frank Martin Carker, age 96, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Frank was born on January 2, 1926 to parents Rose Biondolillo and Jack Franklin Carker.

Frank (aka “Daddy”) was gentle, respectful and mild mannered with an immense love for God and family. He was the most loving and devoted spouse, father and friend one could imagine. He was also a very proud WWII Marine Corps veteran, serving as a tank driver in the Battle of Okinawa. He never thought of himself as a hero; he believed “the true heroes were those that never returned to their families” Semper Fi. Daddy found it humorous to acknowledge he had a tank driver’s license before he was legally able to drive a car, a story he loved to tell his kids, grand kids and great grand kids.

Frank met the love of his life Beatrice (Boots) in Houston, Texas and married on December 9, 1961; they were happily married for 58 years. Together they had three sons and together they loved 4 sons. Frank was ready to be reunited with his precious Boots….Deus Celeritas!

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe Carker and beloved wife, Beatrice (Boots). He is survived by his sons Jack and wife Ruth Gay, Greg and wife Malissa Carker, Gary and wife Gloria Carker and Frank Carker. He is also survived by his grandchildren Paul Gay, Steven Gay, Jacqueline Gay, Corey (Renee) Carker, Chad Carker ( Michelle Yaniec), Lyndsi Carker (Ryan Bennetsen), Andi (Matt) Hernandez, Crystalynn Collins, Bryce (Stacie) Collins, Brooke (Garrett) Vacek, Ashley ( Adam) Shell, Brendon Carker, Gary (Lauren) Atherton, Renae ( Craig) Ross, Eric (Nicole) Atherton, Heather (Colby) Bishop, Dayna (Cody) Roberston and Emily Carker . He also leaves behind 24 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many dear lifelong friends.
