FRANCES JASSO SIERRA

05/11/1938 - 08/14/2022

-

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our beloved mother passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022. Mom was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and loved all her children, grandchildren and babies (anyone’s baby). While raising her 7 daughters and 2 sons, she did an exceptional job with the day-to-day challenges that life presented her. Mother being strong in her faith always managed to prevail.

During her retirement she spent time shopping and she was a fashionista, playing bingo, watching her favorites the Price is Right and Let’s

make a Deal and caring for her late dog Lucy. She loved country music and listening to her #1 favorite-George Strait.

And her favorite charity was Shriners Hospital for Children.

Mother is preceded by the death of her parents, Francisco and Paula Jasso, and sisters, Tina Campbell, Nieves Garza, Connie Landman, Juanita Cardenas and brothers Frank and David Jasso and her son Fernando M. Sierra.

Those who are left to honor and cherish her memory are her sister Ernestine Nixon, her daughters Margaret

Luna, Leticia & Rocky Rodriguez, Diana Perez,

Patsy & Jimmy Duran, Sylvia & Adolph Ramirez, Debra & George Bergen, Edward Sierra her son and Paula Sierra her daughter. She has 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway in Houston on Monday, August 22nd, between 4:00pm – 8:00pm with the morning chapel service at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 23rd followed by the graveside burial.

The family would like to thank Dr. John Paulsel who cared for her over 45 years and Dr. Patrick J. Cook her cardiologist who cared for her over 11 years and all the staff.
