Francisca Pena was called home to be with The Lord on August 12, 2022.

She passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 97, in Houston, TX. Francisca was a faithful and devout Catholic, devoted wife, and loving mother with strong family morals and values.

Her presence on earth will never be forgotten, and her love will always be felt by so many who knew her.

Francisca was the second child of four sisters and born to Virginia and Juan Longoria on March 10, 1925, in East Bernard, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Ignacio Pena Sr., her parents, Virginia,and Juan Longoria, sisters Victoria, Christine, and Lupe Longoria, and stepsister Beatrice Longoria.

Francisca is survived by stepsisters, Rose, Julia, Josephine, Janie, Mary, Yolanda, Sylvia, and Carmen Longoria, and stepbrothers John, Fred, Raymond, Angelo, Benny, and Frank Longoria, brotherin-law, Henry Pena Sr., and sister-in-law Catherine Nino.

Francisca is survived by six sons, Ignacio Jr. & wife Maria, Bene, Louis & wife Loretta, Manuel, Ricky, and Jesse, and one daughter, Alice and husband Pat Kerr, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

A visitation for Francisca will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A second day visitation will occur Monday, August 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, rosary service will occur Monday, August 22, 2022 at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Resurrection Church, 915 Zoe St, Houston, TX 77020. A committal service will occur Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
