Antonio fell asleep and awoke in the arms of Christ on August 12, 2022. He was laid to rest at Forest

Park Lawndale Cemetery on August 18, 2022.

Born in Houston, Texas, Tony grew up in Second Ward and graduated from Austin High School in 1966. He made his profession­al mark on Houston working as a Master Plumber, overseeing commercial planning for projects that generation­s will see, including Minute Maid Park, several Texas Medical Center hospitals, and local schools.

In 2000, Tony married his longtime friend and forever love, Carmen B. Schnur, and they shared a beautiful love story for over 22 years. A devoted father, grandfathe­r, and great-grandfathe­r, his biggest joy was having his family around him. The oldest of seven, Tony was the ultimate big brother. He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio O. Sr., and Helena Schnur.

Tony enjoyed travel, coin collecting, gardening and the occasional quick trip to the casino. A compassion­ate man of Faith, he was a founding member of Knights of Columbus Council #7230 and well known to always be ready give a helping hand. All who had the privilege to know him will remember Tony as a loving, generous, witty and faithful friend.
