Dynamo earn tie on Ferreira’s goal

Sebastián Ferreira scored in the final seconds of extra time to give the Dynamo a 1-1 tie with the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.

Ferreira, off an assist Daniel Steres, left footed a shot from outside the box to the center of the goal at 94:58 and referee Marcos de Oliveira blew the whistle for full time shortly after the ensuing kickoff. The goal was Ferreira’s team-high ninth of the season.

Dash fall at San Diego: The Dash saw their five-match unbeaten string come to end with a 3-1 loss to the San Diego Wave on Saturday night.

Ebony Salmon gave the Dash a 1-0 lead seven minutes into the contest with her eighth goal in eight games.
