HOWARD FRANCIS GREADY

Howard Francis Gready,

Jr. was born in Houston to Vivian Fargerson Gready and Howard Gready, Sr. He passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 77. He is survived by his sister, Anne Wright, and brother James T. Gready, four nieces, and many cousins.

Howard graduated from W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi where he was a National Merit Finalist, and from Rice University. He served four years in the Navy, one of those in Vietnam.

He was a lifelong Methodist and a member and trustee of Freyburg Methodist Church, Schulenburg. He divided his time between homes in Houston and Schulenburg.

Howard was employed at Humble Oil (Exxon) for over 38 years and never missed a day of work - never even took a sick day.

Our beloved brother is in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. A private burial was conducted. Memorial donations may be made to Freyburg Methodist Church, PO Box 43, Schulenburg, TX.
