Willis leads King rout of Crosby

C.E. King left no doubt on Friday night at Cougar Stadium.

The Panthers routed state-ranked Crosby 63-7 in a nondistrict season opener.

It marked the first win for first-year head coach George Young.

Keith Willis finished the game with 12 carries for 208 yards and three touchdowns.

“It feels good to get a win for the program,” Young said. “We just try to get better every year and just try to keep moving forward. We started off slow and then cranked it up and played physical football and that's something that we take pride in.”
