DOYCE ALLEN

Doyce Deleane Allen, 90 years old, passed away on 31st August, 2022 at her home in Houston, Texas surrounded by her loved ones. Doyce was born on 21 September,1931 in Wilson, Texas to Claude and Flora Hughlett. Doyce is survived by her children; daughters, Diana de Lellis and Denise Rowe; son, Donald L. Allen; grandchildren, Kai Allen, Kerrin Sullivan and Brenna Chia; great grandchildren, Ardynne, Braden, Evelynne, Chloe and Sam and numerous family members and friends.

Doyce worked to retirement age for Rolm Corporation and rose to the top levels of the accounting department in that company. She had a passion for music, gardening, holidays, the ocean and the people in her life and community and she loved to laugh.

Doyce shed her light on so many of us and she will be greatly missed.

A memorial will be held on Thursday, 8 September 2022 at 4 pm at Clear Lake Presbyterian Church, 1511 El Dorado Boulevard, Houston Texas, 77062.

In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a memorial donation in Doyce’s memory may do so to the charity of their choice.
