JUNE W. GILLMAN

June went to be with the Lord August 20th 2022 in Houston, TX. She was born in Eagle Lake, TX, and she moved to Houston when she was a child. She attended university of Texas in Austin, there she was a member of Omicron Pi sorority and that is where she met the love of her life Charles “Gill” Gillman. They were happily married for 68 years. June taught Special Ed at Briarwood school for 20+ years. She also supported Brookwood in Brookshire, TX. She loved to travel to Europe and take cruises. She was a beautiful craft artist. June was preceded by her son Charles Albert “AL” Gillman and her devoted husband Charles “Gill” Gillman. She was survived by her son Michael Strickland Gillman, Daughter Sarah Anne Sanders, son in law Tom, her grandsons Thomas Michael and Joshua James, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held on saturday September 17th at 2pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.
