Woman, 26, dies after falling out of turning truck

A female passenger died after falling out of a pickup in Montgomery Couny early Saturday, officials said.

Montgomery County Hospital District EMS found the 26-year-old woman around 2 a.m. dead on the ground near a Ford pickup parked in the U-turn lane on Grand Parkway at Farm to Market 1485.

The man told officials he was making a U-turn when the woman fell out of the truck’s door. A field sobriety test administered by Department of Public Safety officials determined the man was intoxicated. He was placed in custody.

The identities of the man and woman were not immediately available.
