MICHAEL LEE EMMER

Michael was born in Oakridge, Tennessee to Thomas Lee and Dorothy Easterling Emmer. Michael graduated from Mesa College in Grand Junction, Colorado with a certificate in Auto Mechanics and maintained an ASE Certification. Michael later completed courses in diesel, drafting and Autocad at Horn Drafting and CAD Center in Houston. For seven years, he worked for several oil drilling companies managing crews and maintaining equipment in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. Michael returned to auto mechanics and managed a number of auto parts and repair facilities. He retired in 2016 as an Assistant Manager for O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Michael was well-liked by his many friends and co-workers. He particularly enjoyed mentoring others and celebrating their successes.

Michael is survived by his parents, Thomas and Dorothy Emmer; two brothers,

Daniel Emmer and Steven Emmer; and two nephews, Mark Kummer and Matthew Kummer.

Memorials in Michael Emmer’s name may be donated to: Texas Children’s Hospital.
