Police seek man linked to shooting that killed one

Police have identified a person of interest in connection with a fatal shooting late Friday in Fifth Ward, according to a news release.

Charlie Guillory, 25, is wanted for questionin­g in the shooting, which left one man dead and another man injured in the 4700 block of Farmer. He has not been charged.

Two men believed to be family members got into an argument in the driveway of a home on Farmer. One of the men shot the other in the leg and struck a bystander, a 25-year-old who died at the scene. The other wounded man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

The shooter fled in a gray pickup.

In earlier statements, police said there appeared to be a shootout, with two types of bullet casings found at the scene.
