Cy-Fair rolls past Jersey Village

Zaccheas Baynes and Trey Owens combined for eight touchdowns, Brandon Wallace had a crucial interception late in the game, and Cy-Fair (4-1, 2-0) rolled to a 61-49 victory over No. 22 stateranked Jersey Village (4-1, 1-1) in District 17-6A play Friday.

Both teams combined for over 1,200 yards of total offense. Owens went 10-of-17 for 359 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another score. Baynes rushed for 125 yards on 13 carries and three touchdowns and had two receptions for 92 yards and a score.
