DE GREENARD OUT

Texans defensive end Jonathan Greenard did not travel with the team to Jacksonville and will not play Sunday due to an ankle injury.

The franchise is expected to activate veteran Mario Addison, who practiced this week after he was designated to return from the injured reserve due to a thigh injury.

The Texans are expected to elevate tight ends Jordan Akins and Mason Schreck from the practice squad, a person with knowledge of the situation said, which will give the franchise depth at the position while Brevin Jordan remains sidelined with an ankle injury. The Texans also released Pharaoh Brown on Tuesday.
