Bellville routs Brookshire Royal in key Class 4A clash

Bellville’s chances at another district title took a monumental leap Friday evening.

The No. 6 state-ranked Brahmas defended their home turf and earned a 38-3 victory against a previously unbeaten Brookshire Royal team in a District 10-4A Division II matchup at “The Pasture of Pain.”

“Our kids were focused in, ready to go,” said Bellville coach Grady Rowe, whose team improved to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in district action.
