Pickup crosses median, strikes biker head-on

A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a pickup early Saturday on Allen Parkway, police say.

Houston Police found the man dead on Allen Parkway, and his motorcycle was under a pickup.

The pickup driver crossed the median on Allen Parkway around 2 a.m. and slammed headon into the motorcycle, police said.

The truck driver fled on foot.

Police still are investigating.
