$400k in meth found stashed in pumpkins

-

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at Eagle Pass Port of Entry seized four pumpkins filled with 136 condoms containing $402,196 worth of liquid methamphetamine, officials said in a news release this week.

The nearly 44 pounds of liquid methamphetamine was discovered in a 2012 Ford Escape arriving from Mexico at the Eagle Pass Camino Real International Bridge in Maverick County.

CBP Office of Field Operations seized the narcotics and the Ford, and turned the driver and passenger over to the custody of Maverick County Sheriff ’s Office for further investigation, the release said.
