DARLENE MERCER

Darlene Faye Wottrich Mercer was born to Don and Arlene Wottrich in Houston Texas. She graduated from Waltrip High School in 1977 and attended Texas A&M University where she graduated in 1981 with a degree in geology.

She worked in the oil industry at Greenhill Petroleum, Apache, Carneros Energy in Bakersfield, California, and again in Houston at Apache as a systems geologist.

Darlene married Gregg Mercer in 1982. They had two sons, Travis and Mason. They divorced, and she married Michael Conrad in 1998. They divorced also.

She is pre-deceased by her father, and survived by her mother, sons, granddaughter Rowan Mercer (Mason), brother and partner Ray Wottich and Vonnie Reff, and sister Donna Tallon.

There will be a memorial gathering Saturday October 29th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Eastern Glades North Lakeside Pavilion in Memorial Park in Houston.

She is greatly missed.
